When a serious crash occurs, the crash investigator is called to help investigate the crash and attempt to provide answers to the questions the crash produced. But where do crash investigators go when they have questions? The Indiana Association of Certified Accident Investigators is a statewide association dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the field of crash investigation. The association caters to all investigation levels, whether you are an At-Scene investigator or a Traffic Crash Reconstructionist.
The IACAI has recently added two new board members to the association. Mike Cox of Warsaw Police Department is a new North Director, and Scott Poston of Plainfield Police Department is a new Central Director. Brad Seifers and Jon Kovach of the Bloomington Police Department have been filling a South Director position together, but are both now filing individual board member positions. Congradulations and welcome aboard Mike, Scott, Brad, and John.
The Indiana Association of Certified Accident Investigators host several seminars each year on topics ranging from crash photography to CAD use in crash scene diagramming to the latest in laser technology. The IACAI also publishes a quarterly newsletter with information on crash investigation and seminar updates.
The IACAI is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional education and training of crash investigators and reconstructionists throughout the State of Indiana.
