Membership
Membership into the IACAI as a member is for active or retired police officers who are/were At-Scene, Technical, or Reconstruction investigators. Associate members may be anyone, other than police, who are crash investigators.
Membership into the IACAI offers discounted training seminars, a quarterly newsletter with current crash investigation issues and techniques, and access to a large host of accident investigators, allowing a member to network with many other experienced investigators.
Yearly membership dues costs $35.00 for regular members and $45.00 for associate members.
Training seminars have a normal cost of $75.00, which is discounted to $50.00 for members.
Multiple seminars are held throughout the year and cover crash investigation topics that are current issues, and those topics that are requested by our members. Seminars are generally one day in length, offering 6 hours of ILEA credited in-service training for each seminar. Seminar locations are held in different regions across the state.
Outside of the leading crash investigation institutions holding courses within Indiana, this is the only continuing education training courses that crash investigators may receive.
