This training will show crash scene evidence following live crash testing and will walk the crash investigator through the process of collecting that evidence and then preparing that evidence for court. Participants will mark, measure, and photograph the post collision results of the live crash tests. Participants will also collect evidence from the vehicles, including EDR and crush data. Participants will then use the data collected to calculate speeds using various methods to form their case.
Attendees should bring cameras, EDR equipment, measuring equipment, UAS equipment, laptop computers, calculators, drawing software, notebooks, etc.
This will be an excellent opportunity to observe firsthand the dynamics involved in a motor vehicle crash, and will help prepare the crash investigator for the September 18-19, 2018 training seminar
(IACAI co-sponsor) where nationally renowned crash reconstruction expert
Dr. John Kwasnoski will present his Courtroom Presentation Training.
For additional info, please contact IACAI President Kip Shuter at [email protected]
